Use Cases
In EERAdata, Use Cases are an exercise for testing and refining the general approach towards FAIRification and opening of databases. Use Cases constitute practical commitments for implementation (PCI), i.e. the FAIRification and opening of data.
EERAdata comprises a total of four Use Cases, which were implemented in separate Workpackages during a series of workshops. The process followed the European Commission´s Action Plan “Turning FAIR into reality”, issued by the Expert Group on FAIR data. Read more on the Workshop concept of EERAdata.
Objectives of the Use Case work packages:
- to identify available metadata on Use Case-relevant data resources and contributing to the EERAdata metadata repository
- to assess the level of FAIRness and openness of the available data with the contribution of experts from the Use Case field
- to contribute to the FAIRification and opening of the available data respecting privacy concerns
